Project Descriptions:
Photos 1 - 5 'Bamboo Starscraper' engineered and built by Danielle Domenic. The project was 100' tall and was built for a music festival in the Palm Desert, CA. This is the tallest bamboo structure built in North America to achieve government approval. The project also consisted of 5 lounge pavilions, designed and constructed by Danielle. The project was in collaboration with Bamboo DNA.
Photos 5 - 7 'La Basura Sagrada', "the sacred trash", a 4 story high temple at the 2008 Burning Man Art Festival, built entirely from recycled materials. Art, design and construction additions by Danielle Domenic. Collaboration with Brent Spears.
Photos 8, 9 'Bed with a Roof', architectural design and natural building construction consultations by Danielle Domenic. A Small straw bale, adobe and cob cottage built in a walnut grove in Lake County, CA. Collaboration with Massey Burke.
Photos 10, 11 Floating Home, a re-model of a 1979 houseboat. Design and Construction by Danielle Domenic. A low budget, green re-model.
